Just Keeps Getting Better

I've had this bike for about 20 months now and I wanted to write a review because it's such a great bike. My Rebus is an Ultegra Di2, with Mavic Cosmic wheels and I got it to ride around the flat lands of Cambridgeshire, reasoning to myself that being a bit more aero might be more advantageous than being a bit lighter as there are no hills to speak of. The Rebus replaced a 7 year old Raleigh carbon racer and its the only racing bike with which I can make a comparison. Despite all the talk of power efficiency and stiffness in the marketing information, the Rebus is in fact a joy to ride, the carbon frame is stiff and responsive, but takes a lot of the buzz out of the road and its a lot more comfortable to ride, despite the fact that I much prefer the saddle on my old bike. Testament to the quality of the ride is the fact that some 20 months on, and getting into my early 50s I am still regularly getting personal bests despite being on Strava for nearly 10 years. What I've found more than anything, is that when I get up to speed I'm able to maintain it for much longer and the only downside is that when there is a cross wind it can be a bit twitchy with the wide section wheels. Recommended.
